Objectives

Electro plating is an art of building up of one metal on the surface of the same or another metal or conducting surface, it may be defined as the Science and art of electro-deposition of relatively thin film of an adherent metallic coating upon an electrode for the purpose of securing a surface with properties or dimensions different from those of the base metal.

 

The course of Electroplating is designed to fulfill the demand for professionally qualified and skilled electro-platers in various industries in both rural and urban areas thus they have ample scope to secure waged employment in industry and one can also start or electro-plating shop of his own.

 

After going through this course student will be able to understand the principle and process of electro-plating for various metals.
